Abigail Osei-Tutu

CO-FOUNDER + CEO

Meet Abigail Osei-Tutu, the visionary CEO and Co-founder of TribeMeets. As a proud first-generation Ghanaian, Abigail offers a distinctive viewpoint and an unwavering commitment to nurturing significant connections and supportive environments within the African community. Her educational background in Psychology and Sociology has honed her skills in effective communication and relationship building. Abigail is resolute in her dedication to leverage her expertise and cultural heritage to drive increased community engagement and foster profound connections within the African Diaspora. Outside of her work with TribeMeets, Abigail loves to go on solo trips, seeing the world and meeting new people everywhere she goes.

Sade Luwoye

CO-FOUNDER + COO

Sade Luwoye, the Co-founder and COO of TribeMeets, is making a significant impact in the tech industry. As a first-generation Nigerian-American, she brings a unique perspective to her work. Her academic background includes a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Systems Engineering, but she defines herself beyond her qualifications. Sade sees herself as a connector and an innovator, driven by her deep passion for creating spaces where people can come together and build meaningful communities. Through TribeMeets, she has made it her mission to create safe and inclusive environments where individuals can be themselves and forge meaningful relationships.

Beyond her work there, Sade is a strong advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education and diversity. She channels this advocacy through her “Win In STEM” podcast, where she highlights successful people of color STEMinists to show others how to get a seat at the table and win in STEM.
